Angela has coached my 11-year daughter for almost a year on commercials, film, and improv. Of all the training classes we’ve attended, by far Angela is one of the best out there. Over my career as an actor and director – from my days in LA and Chicago -- I’ve had numerous mentors who challenged me to grow. Now here in my hometown of St. Louis, I find it so rewarding to do the same for my clients, some who have already booked roles from school plays to even a feature film.
As a coach, I provide a full range of lessons, from acting techniques to navigating the business, which can be an unfamiliar and intimidating world. I provide my clients:

Guidance for their child to seek representation by a reputable talent agency (there are so many scams out there!).

Preparation for specific auditions or work on monologues.

Strategies for currently booked roles (ie: school plays or films) -- we will create character backstories, develop objectives, memorize lines, and ultimately master the roles.

The skill of Improvisation! It is hands-down the most applicable, both on stage and off. Whether it’s how you first walk in room exuding confidence -- or even how you react when a director completely changes the script, moments before the audition (that happened recently to one of my clients -- he rolled with it and got a callback!).

Embracing the “Yes, And” mantra. It’s worked for me and many successful actor friends, too. This choice is the very basis of creating engaging conversations and being an overall positive person that directors or agents WANT to be around. Talent matters to people casting, but personality seals deals. Having character leads to character roles.

Access to my vast network for opportunities for each client. I will send auditions or meetups that I see fit, or even send an entertainment industry contact I feel would benefit you or your child. I’m in your corner, I have your back. It’s all about networking.
